Y Hospitality is committed to making our digital and physical spaces welcoming to everyone. Hospitality is at the heart of what we do, and that includes making sure guests of all abilities can find us, learn about us, book a table, and visit us with ease.
This statement applies to yhospitality.com and the digital experiences we operate for our concepts, including Storico Fresco, Forza Storico, Yeppa Buckhead, Yeppa Beltline, and the forthcoming Y Bar. Villa Yeppa, our property in Rimini, Italy, has its own accessibility statement on its own website.
Our Commitment
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, are the widely accepted standard for making web content more usable for people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
Our website is built on Framer, a modern web platform that supports many accessibility best practices. We are reviewing our pages, components, color choices, typography, and interactive elements with WCAG 2.1 Level AA in mind, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the site, not a one-time project.
What We Are Doing
To improve digital accessibility, we:
- Use semantic HTML structure and clear heading hierarchies
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images
- Aim for color contrast ratios that meet WCAG AA thresholds
- Support keyboard navigation across primary site flows, including reservations, ordering, gift cards, and event inquiries
- Avoid relying on color alone to convey information
- Test our pages on multiple browsers and devices
- Review accessibility considerations as part of our ongoing design and development work
We acknowledge that some areas of the site may not yet meet our goals, particularly third-party widgets we embed for reservations, online ordering, and event inquiries. We continue to evaluate these tools and to coordinate with our partners where possible.
Third-Party Tools
Some experiences on our site are powered by third-party platforms, including OpenTable for reservations, Toast for online ordering and gift cards, and TripleSeat for private event inquiries. These tools have their own accessibility practices, which we do not control. If you encounter a barrier when using one of these tools, please let us know so we can help and so we can share the issue with our partner.
Physical Accessibility
Each of our restaurants is unique, and accessibility features vary by location, including entrances, restrooms, seating, and parking. The most accurate, up-to-date information comes from the team on the ground at each restaurant. We are happy to talk through your needs in advance and to do everything we can to make your visit comfortable.
